At Bethany, Group Life has different types of groups including Adult Sunday School, Life Groups, and Short-Term study groups.  These groups meet for the purpose of going deeper in our relationship with Jesus through studying God’s word, praying, and having fellowship with other Christians.  If you are interested in the current groups being offered at Bethany, please check out the Bethany Church app or contact Donna Barnwell dbarnwell@bethanyumchurch.com, 610-395-3613.

Volunteers are needed to take parishioners who were recently in the hospital to doctor appointments and to therapy appointments. If you are able to serve in this mission, please contact the church office at 610-395-3613.

Our cupboards are bare!  We are looking for donations of “Rold Gold” pretzels, “Nabisco Barnum” animal crackers and baked goods.   The reason we are asking for specific brands is because of allergies.  We also have a bakers list.  We encourage the bakers to pick a week that they would like to donate.  If you are interested please contact Donna Long at the church office, 610-395-3613.

Volunteers are needed to serve by ushering, greeting, and sitting at the Welcome Desk for Sunday services and special services.  If you would like to serve in this way, please contact Donna Barnwell at dbarnwell@bethanyumchurch.com   or call the church office 610-395-3613.

If you would be interested in receiving prayer requests via email, please contact Donna Long at dlong@bethanyumchurch.com so you can be added.

Ministry Announcements

Stay tuned for information on our next outing.

Adult Sunday School Classes are offered every Sunday at the Macungie campus during the Sunday School hour beginning at 9:15 a.m.  You may join a class at any time.

The Bethany Church app has a listing of current Adult Sunday School classes and the topics each class is studying.

If you are visiting for the first time, please stop by the Children’s Desk for information on our ministries and events and receive a welcome gift for your child.

Sunday School Coordinator:  Would help schedule and send emails to the Sunday School Teachers.  We are currently using an online curriculum so the lessons and video are downloaded each week, save the video to a flash drive and print a copy of the curriculum for each classroom (3) and emailed to the teachers.  The email also includes which teachers are scheduled for that week.

Family Sunday School Co-Leader:  At 9:00 a.m. on Sundays, the whole family comes together and a lesson is facilitated.  Marleah Doyle will continue to teach and would appreciate an assistant.

Awana  Awana is our mid-week children’s program which will is held at the Wescosville Campus.  There is a family meal from 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and then Awana runs from 6:15 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.  Ages 2 years through 5th grade.  Register online at www.bethanyumchurch.com.

Classroom assistants are needed.  The classroom assistant would require you to be at Awana each week, listening to the children recite their verses, helping the leader during lesson time and bringing the children down together for game time.

MOPS & MOMSnext: Mothers of Preschoolers and Elementary students meetings are the 2nd & 4th Fridays 9:30-11:30 am at Macungie Campus. All moms are welcome to join in a time of gathering, community, learning and fun. Come spoil yourself with some Mom time. MopsKids is available for children.
