Ministry Media Production Intern

This a paid internship, PART-TIME (20-25 hours/week) 
Bethany Church – Wescosville PA
Summer of 2017
Working closely with the Director of Outreach, the Ministry Media Production Intern is responsible for strategically communicating Bethany’s story, maintaining a consistent brand that integrates the church’s vision, goals and values.  The Intern is responsible for assisting with Bethany’s internal and external communications, including website design, print, video production and social media. The Intern will work closely with the Director of Outreach and other church staff to set creative direction and dream big. The ideal candidate is an organizer and planner and equally an artist and storyteller.
Produce multimedia content that tells the stories of Bethany, our people and our ministries that is high-quality and high-impact for both internal and external audiences.
Provide editorial direction and content, as well as creative design for communication outlets, including print, webpage design, social media and video.  A main focus will be webpage design and social media.
Keep abreast of new technologies and industry trends and strategize how they will apply to ministry and mission.     

Skill Requirements:
- College student who is available over the summer
- Have proven communication experience, an excellent creative writer
- Have team and interpersonal skills 
- Have proven technical skills in video editing, graphic design, website design and other multimedia
- Ability to handle detail, yet be creative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

Personal Requirements:
- Commitment to Jesus Christ and desire to work in a church
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Final Cut video editing.  Experience with Pro-presenter preferred.
- Self-starter and team player
- As part of the church’s ministry team, this position will be required to volunteer an additional 5 hours per week (in areas to be determined.)
